2 a.m. Scare

We have two cats: Mickey and Deuce. More often than not, they are peaceful, quiet dwellers. About once a week or so, however, one of them, Deuce, throws up. We're not sure why he does this, but it happens. Personally, I think it has something to do with how fast he eats his food, but that's just my opinion. A few nights ago, at about 2:15 a.m., I awake to the sound of Deuce beginning to vomit. I quickly try to pinpoint where he is, and to my horror, he's the desk in our bedroom ........ just a few feet from my Mac, which was sleeping peacefully, unaware of the danger that lurked just to its right. As I shot out of bed, Deuce finished his deed, and ran off. Luckily, nothing touched the computer, but the horror at the prospect of what could have been, remains.

Yuck.
