It's also the Worst Time of the Year

This is a follow up to a previous post about this being the best time of the year, which it is. But, it's also the fall, and for me, that means hay fever. As a kid, I remember my eyes itching so badly that I would rub them until they were about swollen shut. It's like a permanent cold, except it doesn't go away, and it makes my eyes itch constantly. So far I've been pretty lucky, but yesterday was bad -- so bad I took some allergy medicine that wiped out all of my energy, and I think I fell asleep around 9:00. Wow.

DOC!!!

You should check out Claritin. I used it for the first time this summer during a horrendous allergy attack and it worked, and I went to work without feeling like I had to take a nap.

Thanks, Cuats! I took Benadryl last night, and it was bad news.

"Benadryl: bad," as Frankenstein's monster might say. Benadryl has the same ingredient as Sominex, diphenhydramine. I'd suggest loratidine, the generic version of Claritin, much cheaper.
